Ricochet (Rico) 2006 gelding, now owned by Anne of American Canyon, CA.
I just had both of my saddles readjusted by Jochen Schleese and what a
difference. Rico has so much more incredible shoulder freedom which
improved his canter immediately. I then gave him a ‘designer ‘ hair
cut, need to send you a picture:)) He didn’t mind at all being clipped
close to his ears. Every time I work with him there is something new
and improved about him. He is an amazing young horse. He also now got
trained to go on the equiciser which will help out in the winter time
when the footing is too bad to get turned out. Hopefully see you at

So, I took Rico to his second schooling show today.
Wanted to see how quickly he settles when you get there the same day
and just have to show.
We did two intro classes again and he was fantastic.
I was really working hard on keeping him coming forward from behind
and it paid off.
Intro A we scored a 70.5 and landed in second place.
Intro B we scored a 74.0 ( he got a 9 on a trot diagonal !) and we won
that class.
With that score we also had the high point out of 30 intro rides !!
After that he had to practice being tied to the trailer munching on some Hay 
)
The boy is doing well !
