Rave Review is such a young stallion, his offspring are just now entering the competition arenas. As weanlings and yearlings, his offspring have shown apptitude for both jumping and dressage. Rave’s very first colt, Riot(2005), jumped out of a 4′+ fence and then once under saddle, he has clearly shown that he enjoys jumping more than dressage. We expect to see him excelling in the over fences classes. Riot has not been the only foal of Rave’s to jump out of 4′+ fences! Ricochet(2006) and Revenue(2007) both have had to be recaptured and put back in pastures! Ricochet, (now Rico) is being brought up to be an eventer. Revenue is just 3, so he is not being jumped, but because of his gorgeous movement, he is being brought along to compete in the young developing dressage horse championships. We believe that Rave will produce competitive sporthorses that will be very athletic and excel in the discipline that they show the most apptitude for. The mares that we are crossing Rave with have excellent jumper and/or dressage bloodlines, so the foaling season holds great promise for some exceptional foals.
